Ibsen Stage Company revisits Henrik Ibsen’s play A Doll’s House twenty-five years after its very first production of Ibsen’s classic and its guest-performances at the National Theatre of Norway.

This new play inspired by Ibsen's A Doll's House set in the confidential confines of a London therapy room merges fiction and real life, where the idea of self is explored, and, most crucially, to whom we are responsible is questioned.

The two-hander, written by Stephanie Jory and Terje T. Mikkelsen, explores how gender, sex and sexuality condition our drives, relationships and power struggles, and what lengths we might go to in the search for autonomy in our everlasting search for the ultimate happiness.

The project is a co-production with Neo K Productions.
