A Promemoria is a mini-odyssey that takes us from the Danish king Frederik III's illegitimate son Count Gyldenløve's arrival on the southern coast of Norway right up to the present day.
The production brings to life aristocrats, mayors, petty villains, factory workers, inventors and suffragettes in a fast-paced performance that presents Larvik's 350-year-long history in sixty minutes - all based on original source material.
Written in verse and performed by two actors, four musicians and a handful of props, A Promemoria celebrates Larvik's anniversary and the grand reopening of its historical and beloved Festiviteten Teater.

“En times forestilling som fikk oss til å le, gråte, erindre og undre oss over Larviks historie gjennom 350 år. Vi ble minnet om hva vi har lagt bak oss og hva vi burde ta med videre.”
